RGC has successfully fostered an entrepreneurial spirit among the girls. Given the country’s high unemployment rates it is not easy for girls to find formal employment. However, through this training, a number of girls have learnt that they should be proactive and take the initiative to start their own businesses and be employers themselves. Business projects have been set up in Interior designing, Cutting and designing, Hotel and catering, Preschool and Hairdressing. Girls are running these projects from their homes. The introduction of Savings Clubs has also enabled them to save small amounts of money in groups to be able to finance their income generating projects.
